Springfield State Bank offers statement savings accounts designed for personal use or for your business. A savings account is a great way to save money for a vacation or for a college education all while earning a competitive rate of interest. You can also make saving hassle-free by scheduling automatic deposits from your Springfield State Bank checking account at no additional charge. All of our savings accounts earn interest daily and compound interest on a quarterly basis.

- Minimum to open $100
- Interest compounded daily and paid quarterly. For current rates click here.
- A maintenance fee of $3.00 will be imposed every calendar quarter if the minimum balance for the calendar quarter falls below $100.00 on any day during the quarter.. This fee will not be charged for anyone under 18 years of age.
- Transaction Limitations: Any withdrawals from a Savings account to another account or to third parties (in person, by phone with a SSB employee, ATM, by telephone banking, ACH or automatic transfer) are limited to six per month (18 per quarter) with no transfers by check or similar order to third parties. A transaction fee of $2.00 will be charged for each transfer/withdrawal in excess of these limits.
