Make SSB Your Homepage


Click here to set springfieldstate.com as your start page if you are using IE 6.0 or higher, or use the instructions below to set it yourself.

The start page is the first page that you see when you launch your browser, as well as the page that you default back to when you click the "Home" button of the browser.


FOR PC BROWSERS:


Internet Explorer 5.0 & above:

  1. Select "Tools" then "Internet Options" from the toolbar at the top of the screen.
  2. In the "Home page" section, paste or type the following: http://www.springfieldstate.com into the "Address" box and click "OK."


Firefox 1.0 & above:

  1. Select "Tools" then "Options" from the menubar at the top of the screen.
  2. On the Main tab, where it reads "Home Page:," paste or type the following: http://www.springfieldstate.com and click "OK."

Google Chrome 1.0 & above:

  1. Select "Wrench Icon (Customize)" then "Options" from the menubar at the top right of the screen.
  2. On the Basics tab, where it reads "On startup:," click "Open the following pages:"
  3. Then paste or type the following: http://www.springfieldstate.com and click "OK."


Opera 7.0 & above:

  1. Select "Tools" then "Preferences" from the menubar at the top of the screen.
  2. On the "General" tab, in the "Home page" section, paste or type the following: http://www.springfieldstate.com and click "OK."


Safari 3.0 & above:

  1. Select "Edit" then "Preferences" from the menubar at the top of the screen.
  2. In the "Home page" section, paste or type the following: http://www.springfieldstate.com click the close button [X].
  3. You may be prompted if you are certain you wish to change your home page. If you are, click "Change home page."

Safari 1.0 & above:

  1. Select "Safari" then "Preferences" from the menubar at the top of the screen.
  2. In the "Home page" section, paste or type the following: http://www.springfieldstate.com click the close button.


Firefox 1.0 & above:

  1. Select "Firefox" then "Preferences" from the menubar at the top of the screen.
  2. On the Main tab, where it reads "Home Page:," paste or type the following: http://www.springfieldstate.com and click the close button.
